The Landlord

by Jonathan Barsness

directed by Michael Daehn

You know how sometimes it seems impossible to make a decision about anything, because a part of you says one thing, another part of you says something else, and your gut instinct urges you in yet another direction? Meanwhile, you're distracted because you're hungry even though you ate an hour ago and really should be at the gym. In The Landlord these voices in your head materialize as characters on the stage. This original play offers a comedic look into one man's inner journey as he battles for clarity, identity and personal satisfaction. The Landlord crosses boundaries of performance genres to examine the ever pressing human question, who am I?
