A PLACE TO COME HOME TO

by John Dirrigl

directed by Brian Catton

At the center of the play is Hans Schmidt - brother, father, and husband. When his older brother sails to Germany in 1938 to fight for Hitler's Army, Hans' life is destroyed. He remains in America but is seen by everyone -- including the US government -- as a spy, traitor, or Nazi collaborator. When George, the brother, returns in 1953 for a serious operation, what should Hans do? Should he forgive and forget the last fifteen years of his life and care for his brother?
