Punk as Fuck
by Michael K. White & Dianna Stark
directed by Katherine Sommer
Everyday Inferno Theatre Co. is thrilled to announce an ambitious repertory project that will continue its commitment to presenting exciting new works, under-produced classics, and theatrical events that push the boundaries of subject matter and stagecraft. Transforming the Access Theater Gallery into an immersive space with a distinct nightclub vibe, the two shows will play in rotation for a three-week limited run. The rotating schedule provides ample opportunity for audiences to discover surprising parallels between these very different works. In PUNK AS FUCK, a world-premiere play by Michael K. White and Dianna Stark, youth, passion, and ideals collide on a fateful Friday night in 1991. It's the era of grunge, alt-rock, and 90s punk, and a garage band has gathered for a rehearsal that will end up taking them on an emotional roller coaster through their deepest secrets and hidden longings. Set against a background of live music, this is a play for anyone who has ever been young, angry, and in love (and, letís be honest, that means itís for everyone).
