Butterfly Hour

by Claude Solnik

directed by Daniel Higgins

Tom Ashton and Paul Wallace play Matt and Oats in Butterfly Hour, a co-production of Theater for the New City and the Textile Co., running the first two weeks of December.

A new play about three soldiers (including one engaged to be married) who return from Iraq and adjust to civilian life. They get together for an “operation” that could solve their financial problems. An exciting play that mixes vivid writing, strong action and video. This inventive production of Butterfly Hour looks at love, loss, post traumatic stress disorder and the ghosts that haunt us all. Along the way, we delve into the mysteries of war and music and may even find out what really happened to Jimi Hendrix's burned guitar.
