A love story shaped by history and politics. Set in Central America and London in the 18th Century, the historical/hallucinatory mix includes the true story of Edward Despard, an Irish-born Colonel in the British Army and Catherine Despard, an Aftican-American woman who became his wife, William Blake, Lord Nelson, Black Mummers, and the White Boys of Coolrain.
