Laika Dog in Space

by Rob Neill, Eevin Hartsough, Jill Beckman

directed by Dave Dalton

Jumping off of the stories of Laika (the more famous dog sent into space by the Russians in the 1950s) and Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s The Little Prince, Laika Dog in Space incorporates “The Prisoner” TV series, Russian fairy tales, Neo-Futurism, and musical and dancing elements into a 104-minute experience (split into sections to equal the time it took Laika to orbit the Earth).
