Everyman

directed by Shari Johnson

“Oh Death, thou comest when I had thee least in mind.” The Looking Glass Theatre proudly presents EVERYMAN, the timeless morality play, directed by Shari Johnson. Knock, Knock! Death is at Every’s door and she is not prepared. A Reckoning is the last thing she reckoned on. She’s been living the good life, but now confronted by Death, Every’s got to find someone or something to take with her to the grave. On her way, she will come face-to-face characters such as Beauty, Knowledge, Good Deeds and Strength. This new production of the most powerful morality play of the Medieval period will challenge how you think about life, death and all the deeds in between. EVERYMAN mixes brokenness with beauty, tragedy with comedy, for a literally spiritual theatrical experience. Running time is approximately 70 minutes.
